Comparison review
Microsoft Surface Pro 3 is way better than Asus VivoTab Smart, with a 72.2 score against 58.7. Microsoft Surface Pro 3's construction is heavier but a little thinner than Asus VivoTab Smart. Both of these tablets come with Windows OS (operating system), but the Microsoft Surface Pro 3 has newer 8.1 Pro version and Asus VivoTab Smart has Windows 8, providing a couple nice extra features.
Microsoft Surface Pro 3 counts with a little more vivid screen than Asus VivoTab Smart, because it has a bigger display, a way better 1440 x 2160 resolution and a higher pixels count in each inch of display. Microsoft Surface Pro 3 has a much better storage for applications and games than Asus VivoTab Smart, because although it has no SD card slot, it also counts with 448 GB more internal storage capacity.
Asus VivoTab Smart counts with a bit more powerful CPU than Microsoft Surface Pro 3, because although it has 6 GB less RAM, and they both have a Dual-Core CPU, the Asus VivoTab Smart also counts with an extra graphics processing unit. Asus VivoTab Smart counts with a battery lifetime that's just as good as the Microsoft Surface Pro 3 one.
Asus VivoTab Smart features a greater camera than Microsoft Surface Pro 3, and although they both have the same video frame rates and the same 1920x1080 video resolution, the Asus VivoTab Smart also has a back facing camera with a much higher resolution.
The Microsoft Surface Pro 3 is a lot more expensive than Asus VivoTab Smart, but you can get a much better tablet for that extra money.
