The Microsoft Surface Pro 3 has a score of 72.2, which is much better than the HTC Flyer's general score of 58.7. Microsoft Surface Pro 3 comes with Windows 8.1 Pro OS, while HTC Flyer works with Android 3.2 OS. Even though the Microsoft Surface Pro 3 is extremely heavier than HTC Flyer, it's a lot thinner and incredibly newer.
The Microsoft Surface Pro 3 counts with a bit faster CPU than HTC Flyer, because although it has doesn't have a graphics processing unit, it also counts with 7 GB more RAM and 1 more processing cores. Microsoft Surface Pro 3 has a little sharper screen than HTC Flyer, because it has a lot larger display, more pixels per screen inch and a way better 1440 x 2160 resolution.
The HTC Flyer shoots much better photos and videos than Microsoft Surface Pro 3. Both have the same resolution camera in the back, the same (HD) video resolution and the same video frame rate. Microsoft Surface Pro 3 counts with a lot bigger memory to store more games and applications than HTC Flyer, because although it has no SD extension slot, it also counts with 512 GB internal storage capacity.
The HTC Flyer has a very superior battery performance than Microsoft Surface Pro 3.
Microsoft Surface Pro 3 costs a lot more money than HTC Flyer, but it's still a great deal, because you can get a lot more features for that extra money.
