Comparison review
Microsoft Surface Pro 3 is much better than the Lenovo YOGA Tablet 2 8-inch (Windows), having a 72.2 score against 61.9. Even being the best portable tablet we compare here, Microsoft Surface Pro 3's construction is thicker and notably heavier than the Lenovo YOGA Tablet 2 8-inch (Windows). These tablets come with Windows OS (operating system), but Microsoft Surface Pro 3 has the newer 8.1 Pro version and Lenovo YOGA Tablet 2 8-inch (Windows) has Windows 8.1, providing a couple nice extra features and enhanced performance.
The Lenovo YOGA Tablet 2 8-inch (Windows) features a bit better processing power than Microsoft Surface Pro 3, because although it has less RAM, it also counts with a higher number of cores and a 64-bits CPU. The Lenovo YOGA Tablet 2 8-inch (Windows) features a much better display than Microsoft Surface Pro 3, because although it has a lot smaller display and a bit worse 1200 x 1920px resolution, it also counts with a better display pixel density.
The Lenovo YOGA Tablet 2 8-inch (Windows) features a greater camera than Microsoft Surface Pro 3, because it has a back facing camera with a much better 8 mega pixels resolution. Microsoft Surface Pro 3 features much more storage capacity for games and applications than Lenovo YOGA Tablet 2 8-inch (Windows), because although it has no SD extension slot, it also counts with 512 GB internal memory.
The Lenovo YOGA Tablet 2 8-inch (Windows) has a very superior battery life than Microsoft Surface Pro 3.
Microsoft Surface Pro 3 costs a little more than the Lenovo YOGA Tablet 2 8-inch (Windows), but it's still a good choice, because you can get a lot more for that extra money.
