Comparison review
The Microsoft Surface Pro 3 is much better than Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), having a 72.2 score against 61.4. The Microsoft Surface Pro 3 is a newer and a little bit thinner tablet than the Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), although it's also noticeably heavier. Microsoft Surface Pro 3 works with Windows 8.1 Pro operating system, and Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) has Android 4.1 operating system.
The Microsoft Surface Pro 3 has a brighter display than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), because it has a bigger display, a much higher resolution of 1440 x 2160 pixels and a higher display density. Microsoft Surface Pro 3 features a better performing processing unit than Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), and although they both have 2 cpu cores, the Microsoft Surface Pro 3 also has 7 GB more RAM memory.
Microsoft Surface Pro 3 features a much greater storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), because although it has no SD card slot, it also counts with more internal storage. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) features a bit better camera than Microsoft Surface Pro 3, although it has a much lower (HD) video resolution and a much lower 3 mega pixels resolution camera in the back.
