Microsoft Surface Pro 3 has a general score of 72.2, which is much better than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE's global score of 61.7. Microsoft Surface Pro 3's body is newer and thinner than the Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE's, although it is incredibly heavier. Microsoft Surface Pro 3 has Windows 8.1 Pro OS, while Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE works with Android 4.1 OS.

Microsoft Surface Pro 3 counts with a bit faster processing unit than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, because although it has doesn't have an extra graphics processor, and they both have a Dual-Core processor, the Microsoft Surface Pro 3 also counts with more RAM memory. The Microsoft Surface Pro 3 counts with a bit more vivid display than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, because it has a much bigger screen, a better screen density and a much better 1440 x 2160 resolution.

The Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE captures slightly better videos and photos than Microsoft Surface Pro 3, although it has a way lower 1280x720 video quality and a back-facing camera with a way worse 3.2 megapixels resolution. Microsoft Surface Pro 3 has a lot bigger storage capacity for applications and games than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, because although it has no slot for an external memory card, it also counts with 512 GB internal storage capacity.
