Microsoft Surface Pro 3 is better than Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7, having a 72.2 score against 64.8. Although the Microsoft Surface Pro 3 is newer than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7, it is much heavier and thicker. Microsoft Surface Pro 3 works with Windows 8.1 Pro operating system, while Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 comes with Android 4.0.4 operating system.

Galaxy Tab 7.7 features a bit sharper screen than Microsoft Surface Pro 3, although it has a just a little lower pixels density, a much lower 800 x 1280 resolution and a really smaller display. The Microsoft Surface Pro 3 features a much greater storage capacity for apps and games than Galaxy Tab 7.7, because although it has no SD memory slot, it also counts with 512 GB internal memory capacity.
