Microsoft Surface Pro 3 has a general score of 72.2, which is much better than the Galaxy Tab 8.9's general score of 58.1. The Microsoft Surface Pro 3 counts with Windows 8.1 Pro operating system, while Galaxy Tab 8.9 comes with Android 3.0 operating system. Microsoft Surface Pro 3's design is extremely newer than the Galaxy Tab 8.9's, although it's a little thicker and heavier.
Microsoft Surface Pro 3 has a bit more vivid display than Galaxy Tab 8.9, because it has a much larger screen, a greater pixels number per inch of screen and a much better 1440 x 2160 resolution. Microsoft Surface Pro 3 features much more memory to store more games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9, because it has 512 GB internal memory capacity.
Microsoft Surface Pro 3 has a faster processing unit than Galaxy Tab 8.9. Both of them have the same number of cores.
