Microsoft Surface Pro 3 is a little bit better than the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018), getting a 72.2 score against 68.3. Despite being the best portable tablet in this comparison, the Microsoft Surface Pro 3 is a way older, a lot heavier and a little thicker portable tablet than the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018). Microsoft Surface Pro 3 has Windows 8.1 Pro OS, while Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) has Android 8.1 Oreo OS.
The Microsoft Surface Pro 3 counts with a brighter screen than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018), because it has a just a bit greater pixels density, a much bigger screen and a much higher 1440 x 2160 resolution. Microsoft Surface Pro 3 features much more memory capacity to store more apps and games than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018), because although it has no SD extension slot, it also counts with 512 GB internal storage.
