The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch has an overall score of 67.4, which is slightly better than the Microsoft Surface Pro 3's global score of 61.4. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch works with Android 4.2.2 operating system, while Microsoft Surface Pro 3 counts with Windows 8.1 Pro operating system. Despite of the fact that the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch is older than Microsoft Surface Pro 3, it's design is notably lighter and somewhat thinner.
Microsoft Surface Pro 3 features a slightly better display than Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch, because it has a much higher 1440 x 2160 resolution, a really larger screen and a little bit better pixel quantity per display inch.
