Comparison review
Microsoft Surface Pro 4 has an overall score of 75.1, which is way better than the Asus VivoTab Smart's 58.7 general score. The Microsoft Surface Pro 4 is a somewhat thinner but way heavier tablet than Asus VivoTab Smart. Both tablets we are comparing work with Windows OS (operating system), but the Microsoft Surface Pro 4 has the previous 10 Pro version while Asus VivoTab Smart has Windows 8.
Microsoft Surface Pro 4 features a brighter display than Asus VivoTab Smart, because it has a lot better resolution of 1824 x 2736, a way higher screen density and a larger display. Microsoft Surface Pro 4 has a very superior storage to install applications and games than Asus VivoTab Smart, because although it has no external memory slot, it also counts with 1000 GB internal storage.
The Asus VivoTab Smart counts with a much better performing processing unit than Microsoft Surface Pro 4, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM, it also counts with a higher number of cores and a graphics co-processor. The Asus VivoTab Smart's battery lifetime is very similar to Microsoft Surface Pro 4's battery duration.
The Asus VivoTab Smart captures much better photos and videos than Microsoft Surface Pro 4. Both have a back-facing camera with an 8 MP, the same video frame rates and the same video definition.
Microsoft Surface Pro 4 costs a lot more than the Asus VivoTab Smart, but you can get a much better tablet for that few more dollars.
