Microsoft Surface Pro 4 has a score of 75.1, which is much better than Galaxy Tab 4 8.0's 66.2 score. Microsoft Surface Pro 4's design is newer than Galaxy Tab 4 8.0's, although it's just a little thicker and a lot heavier. Microsoft Surface Pro 4 counts with Windows 10 Pro OS, and Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 comes with Android 4.4.2 OS.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 counts with a much more powerful processing unit than Microsoft Surface Pro 4, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM, it also counts with an additional GPU and a larger number of cores (and also faster). The Microsoft Surface Pro 4 counts with a little bit better looking screen than Galaxy Tab 4 8.0, because it has a really larger screen, a better screen density and a much better 1824 x 2736 resolution.
Microsoft Surface Pro 4 features just a bit better camera than Galaxy Tab 4 8.0, because it has a much better 8 mega pixels resolution camera in the back and a way higher (Full HD) video definition. The Microsoft Surface Pro 4 has a much bigger storage capacity for applications and games than Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0, because although it has no external memory card slot, it also counts with 1000 GB internal storage capacity.
The Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 features a very superior battery life than Microsoft Surface Pro 4.
Although Microsoft Surface Pro 4 is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Galaxy Tab 4 8.0, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Galaxy Tab 4 8.0. So if you want that extra features, you can buy the Microsoft Surface Pro 4, otherwise you can save some dollars and get the Galaxy Tab 4 8.0, letting go a couple specs and features.
