Microsoft Surface Pro 6 has a score of 81.5, which is better than the iPad 3's general score of 71.1. The Microsoft Surface Pro 6 has Windows 10 OS, while iPad 3 has iOS 6.1 OS. Although Microsoft Surface Pro 6 is somewhat heavier than iPad 3, it's somewhat thinner and noticeably newer. The Microsoft Surface Pro 6 counts with a faster processor than iPad 3, because it has more cores and 15 GB more RAM.
IPad 3 has a bit more vivid screen than Microsoft Surface Pro 6, although it has a much smaller display, a little bit worse pixel quantity per display inch and a much lower resolution of 1536 x 2048. Microsoft Surface Pro 6 features a very superior storage for apps and games than Apple iPad 3, because it has 1000 GB internal storage.
Apple iPad 3 counts with a very superior battery performance than Microsoft Surface Pro 6. The iPad 3 shoots greater photographs and videos than Microsoft Surface Pro 6, although it has a camera with way less mega pixels resolution and a lower 1920x1080 (Full HD) video quality.
