Microsoft Surface Pro 6 is much better than the Galaxy Tab 4 8.0, having an 81.5 score against 66.2. The Microsoft Surface Pro 6 construction is extremely newer, but incredibly heavier and a little bit thicker than Galaxy Tab 4 8.0. Microsoft Surface Pro 6 counts with Windows 10 operating system, while Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 has Android 4.4.2 operating system.
Microsoft Surface Pro 6 counts with just a little better hardware performance than Galaxy Tab 4 8.0, because although it has doesn't have an extra graphics co-processor, and they both have the same number of cores, the Microsoft Surface Pro 6 also counts with a larger amount of RAM memory. Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 has just a bit better looking display than Microsoft Surface Pro 6, although it has a way worse resolution of 1280 x 800, a lot lower number of pixels in each screen inch and a much smaller screen.
The Microsoft Surface Pro 6 has a lot bigger storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Galaxy Tab 4 8.0, because although it has no slot for external memory cards, it also counts with 984 GB more internal memory. The Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 has a superior battery life than Microsoft Surface Pro 6.
Microsoft Surface Pro 6 features just a bit better camera than Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0, because it has a lot higher 1920x1080 (Full HD) video resolution and a much more mega-pixels camera in the back.
Although Microsoft Surface Pro 6 is a better device, it costs a lot more than Galaxy Tab 4 8.0, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Galaxy Tab 4 8.0. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy Microsoft Surface Pro 6, else you can save some money and get the Galaxy Tab 4 8.0, letting go a couple features and specs.
