Microsoft Surface Pro 6 is slightly better than Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4, getting a global score of 81.5 against 75.2. The Microsoft Surface Pro 6 comes with Windows 10 operating system, while Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 has Android 4.4.2 operating system. Microsoft Surface Pro 6's design is much newer, but somewhat thicker and incredibly heavier than the Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4.

Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 counts with a much more vibrant display than Microsoft Surface Pro 6, because although it has a bit lower 2560 x 1600px resolution and a really smaller screen, it also counts with more pixels per display inch. Microsoft Surface Pro 6 features a much better storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4, because although it has no external memory slot, it also counts with 1000 GB internal storage capacity.

Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 has a bit superior processing unit than Microsoft Surface Pro 6, because although it has less RAM, and they both have the same number of cores, the Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 also counts with an additional graphics processing unit. The Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 takes much clearer photographs and videos than Microsoft Surface Pro 6. Both of them have the same video definition, a camera in the back with an 8 mega pixels resolution and the same video frame rate.

Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 has a superior battery lifetime than Microsoft Surface Pro 6.

Although Microsoft Surface Pro 6 is a better device, it is way more expensive than Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4. If you prefer to save some dollars, you can get the Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4, giving up a few features and specs, but you will get the most out of your savings.
