The iPad 3 has a general score of 71.1, which is just a bit better than the Microsoft Surface Pro 7's 66.9 overall score. IPad 3's construction is somewhat lighter than Microsoft Surface Pro 7, but it is somewhat thicker and was released many years before. The iPad 3 has iOS 6.1 OS, while Microsoft Surface Pro 7 has Windows 10 OS.
Microsoft Surface Pro 7 has a quite superior processing power than iPad 3, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Microsoft Surface Pro 7 also has more RAM.
