Apple iPad mini 3 is better than Microsoft Surface Pro 7, with a score of 77.5 against 66.9. The Apple iPad mini 3 comes with iOS 8.x OS, and Microsoft Surface Pro 7 has Windows 10 OS. Although Apple iPad mini 3 is way older than the Microsoft Surface Pro 7, it's design is lighter and just a little bit thinner.
The Microsoft Surface Pro 7 counts with a bit faster processor than Apple iPad mini 3, because although it has doesn't have an extra graphics processor and a 32-bit processing unit instead of 64-bits, and they both have a Dual-Core processing unit, the Microsoft Surface Pro 7 also counts with a larger amount of RAM.
IPad mini 3 has a brighter display than Microsoft Surface Pro 7, because although it has a really smaller screen and a much lower 1536 x 2048 resolution, it also counts with a little better count of pixels per inch in the screen. The iPad mini 3's storage capacity to store more apps and games is very similar to the Microsoft Surface Pro 7 one, they have the same 128 GB internal storage capacity.
The Apple iPad mini 3 has a much better battery duration than Microsoft Surface Pro 7. The iPad mini 3 shoots much clearer photos and videos than Microsoft Surface Pro 7, although it has a camera with a much worse 5 megapixels resolution and a lower (Full HD) video definition.
Despite of being the best tablet in our comparison, Apple iPad mini 3 is also very cheap compared to the other devices, making it an easy decision.
