Comparison review

The Microsoft Surface Pro 7 is better than Asus VivoTab Smart, getting a global score of 66.9 against 58.7. The Microsoft Surface Pro 7 design is thinner but incredibly heavier than the Asus VivoTab Smart. Both of these tablets come with Windows OS (Operating System), but Microsoft Surface Pro 7 has a newer 10 version and Asus VivoTab Smart has Windows 8.

Microsoft Surface Pro 7 features a more vivid display than Asus VivoTab Smart, because it has a much higher pixels number per inch in the screen, a way better 2736 x 1824 pixels resolution and a bigger screen. The Microsoft Surface Pro 7 has a much bigger memory to store more games and applications than Asus VivoTab Smart, because although it has no SD memory slot, it also counts with 128 GB internal storage capacity.

Microsoft Surface Pro 7 has just a bit better performance than Asus VivoTab Smart, because although it has doesn't have a graphics processing unit, and they both have a Dual-Core CPU, the Microsoft Surface Pro 7 also counts with 2 GB more RAM memory. Asus VivoTab Smart takes much better photographs and videos than Microsoft Surface Pro 7. Both of them have a back-facing camera with an 8 mega-pixels resolution, the same video frame rate and the same (Full HD) video resolution.

The Microsoft Surface Pro 7 and the Asus VivoTab Smart both count with extremely similar battery performance.

Although Microsoft Surface Pro 7 is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Asus VivoTab Smart, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Asus VivoTab Smart. So if you need that extra specs, you can buy Microsoft Surface Pro 7, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and get the Asus VivoTab Smart, giving up a couple features and specs.
