Microsoft Surface Pro 7 has a score of 66.9, which is much better than Dell Venue 8 Pro's 59.6 global score. The Microsoft Surface Pro 7 design is incredibly heavier but a little thinner than the Dell Venue 8 Pro. Both tablets in this review come with Windows operating system, but the Microsoft Surface Pro 7 has the older 10 version while Dell Venue 8 Pro has Windows 8.1 Pro.
The Microsoft Surface Pro 7 counts with a little bit better hardware performance than Dell Venue 8 Pro, because although it has 2 lesser CPU cores , it also counts with a larger amount of RAM. The Dell Venue 8 Pro features a bit more vivid display than Microsoft Surface Pro 7, although it has a really smaller screen, a much lower resolution of 800 x 1280 and a way lower pixels amount per display inch.
The Microsoft Surface Pro 7 shoots a little bit better photos and videos than Dell Venue 8 Pro, because it has a lot higher 8 mega-pixels resolution back-facing camera. The Microsoft Surface Pro 7 counts with a slightly better memory to install applications and games than Dell Venue 8 Pro, because although it has no slot for an external memory card, it also counts with more internal memory capacity.
The Dell Venue 8 Pro features a very superior battery lifetime than Microsoft Surface Pro 7.
