Microsoft Surface Pro 8 has a global score of 64.8, which is just a bit better than Alcatel JOY TAB 2's 62.5 general score. The Microsoft Surface Pro 8 has Windows 11 operating system, while Alcatel JOY TAB 2 counts with Android 10 operating system. Despite being the best device in this review, the Microsoft Surface Pro 8 is a notably heavier and just a little bit thicker device than the Alcatel JOY TAB 2.
Microsoft Surface Pro 8 has a more powerful processing unit than Alcatel JOY TAB 2, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Microsoft Surface Pro 8 also has more RAM. The Microsoft Surface Pro 8 counts with a sharper display than Alcatel JOY TAB 2, because it has a greater amount of pixels per inch of screen, a way higher 1920 x 2880 resolution and a way bigger screen.
The Alcatel JOY TAB 2 captures slightly better pictures and videos than Microsoft Surface Pro 8, although it has a back-facing camera with a lot worse resolution. Alcatel JOY TAB 2 features a very superior storage for games and applications than Microsoft Surface Pro 8, because it has a slot for SD memory cards that holds a maximum of 256 GB.
Microsoft Surface Pro 8 counts with a way better battery performance than Alcatel JOY TAB 2, because it has a 52% larger battery capacity.
