Comparison review
The Microsoft Surface RT is a bit better than the Acer Iconia W510, having a 58.4 score against 57.5. Both of these tablets come with Windows OS (Operating System), but the Microsoft Surface RT has the newer RT version and Acer Iconia W510 has Windows 8 version. The Microsoft Surface RT design is heavier and a bit thicker than Acer Iconia W510.
Microsoft Surface RT and Acer Iconia W510 have really similar displays, because although the Acer Iconia W510 has a little smaller display, and they both have the same resolution of 768 x 1366 pixels, it also counts with a quite better quantity of pixels per inch of screen. The Microsoft Surface RT features just a bit better performance than Acer Iconia W510, because although it has a slower graphics processor working at 520 MHz, and they both have 2 GB of RAM memory, the Microsoft Surface RT also counts with 2 more processing cores.
The Acer Iconia W510 shoots way better photos and videos than Microsoft Surface RT, and although they both have the same video quality and the same video frame rates, the Acer Iconia W510 also has a much more mega pixels back-facing camera. The Microsoft Surface RT features a slightly better storage capacity for apps and games than Acer Iconia W510, because although it has no SD memory card expansion slot, it also counts with more internal memory.
Acer Iconia W510 counts with a really longer battery performance than Microsoft Surface RT.
Although Microsoft Surface RT is a better device, it costs more than the Acer Iconia W510, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Acer Iconia W510. If you prefer to save some dollars, you can buy Acer Iconia W510, letting go a couple features and specs, but you'll get the most with your money.
