Motorola Droid XYBoard 8.2 has an overall score of 62.6, which is just a bit better than Microsoft Surface RT's score of 58.4. The Motorola Droid XYBoard 8.2 counts with Android 4.0 operating system, and Microsoft Surface RT comes with Windows RT operating system. Even though Motorola Droid XYBoard 8.2 and the Microsoft Surface RT were only released with a couple months difference, Motorola Droid XYBoard 8.2 is way lighter and just a little thinner.

Motorola Droid XYBoard 8.2 counts with a much better looking display than Microsoft Surface RT, because although it has a quite lower resolution of 800 x 1280px and a much smaller display, it also counts with a quite higher screen density. Microsoft Surface RT features a way bigger storage capacity for games and applications than Motorola Droid XYBoard 8.2, because it has more internal storage.

The Microsoft Surface RT counts with a bit faster processing unit than Motorola Droid XYBoard 8.2, because although it has a weaker 520 MHz graphics processor, it also counts with more RAM memory and a greater number of cores. Motorola Droid XYBoard 8.2 captures much better pictures and videos than Microsoft Surface RT, and although they both have the same video frame rates and the same video definition, the Motorola Droid XYBoard 8.2 also has a much higher 5 megapixels resolution back camera.

Motorola Droid XYBoard 8.2 has a really longer battery life than Microsoft Surface RT.

Although Motorola Droid XYBoard 8.2 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Microsoft Surface RT, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Microsoft Surface RT. If you want to save some dollars, you can buy the Microsoft Surface RT, giving up a few features and specifications, but you will get the most with your budget.
