Comparison review

Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) has a score of 58.5, which is a little bit better than Microsoft Surface RT's 58.4 general score. Even though Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) and the Microsoft Surface RT were released only a few months apart, Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0)'s construction is lighter but also just a little thicker. The Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) works with Android 4.1 operating system, and Microsoft Surface RT has Windows RT operating system.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) features a little bit better display than Microsoft Surface RT, because although it has a much lower resolution of 600 x 1024 and a way smaller display, it also counts with a just a little higher pixels count in each inch of screen. The Microsoft Surface RT features a better CPU than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), because it has 2 more CPU cores, a larger amount of RAM memory and a GPU.

Microsoft Surface RT counts with a much better storage capacity for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), because although it has no slot for external memory cards, it also counts with 64 GB internal memory capacity. Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) shoots much better photographs and videos than Microsoft Surface RT, and although they both have the same 1280x720 (HD) video definition and the same video frame rates, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) also has a lot better resolution back-facing camera.

Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) counts with a much longer battery duration than Microsoft Surface RT.

Despite of being the best tablet of the ones we are comparing here, Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) is also by far the cheapest, which makes this tablet a no doubt choice.
