Comparison review
Galaxy Tab 7.7 is much better than the Microsoft Surface RT, with a global score of 64.8 against 58.4. The Galaxy Tab 7.7 is an older tablet than the Microsoft Surface RT, but Samsung made it thinner and notably lighter. The Galaxy Tab 7.7 has Android 4.0.4 OS, and Microsoft Surface RT has Windows RT OS.
The Microsoft Surface RT has a bit better processor than Galaxy Tab 7.7, because it has more RAM, more CPU cores and a faster graphics co-processor working at 520 megahertz. The Galaxy Tab 7.7 counts with a sharper display than Microsoft Surface RT, because although it has a much smaller display and a bit worse resolution of 800 x 1280px, it also counts with a greater amount of pixels per inch of screen.
Galaxy Tab 7.7 counts with a greater memory capacity to store more apps and games than Microsoft Surface RT. Both of them have equal 64 GB internal storage capacity. The Galaxy Tab 7.7 counts with a really longer battery life than Microsoft Surface RT. Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 features a way better camera than Microsoft Surface RT, and although they both have the same video definition and the same video frame rate, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 also has a camera in the back with much more MP.
Although Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Microsoft Surface RT, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Microsoft Surface RT. So if you want that extra features, you can buy Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7, else you can save some money and buy the Microsoft Surface RT, giving up some features and specifications.
