Microsoft Surface RT has an overall score of 58.4, which is a little bit better than Galaxy Tab 8.9's 58.1 score. The Microsoft Surface RT counts with Windows RT operating system, and Galaxy Tab 8.9 comes with Android 3.0 operating system. The Microsoft Surface RT construction is newer than the Galaxy Tab 8.9's, but it is way heavier and a little thicker.

Microsoft Surface RT counts with a faster processing unit than Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9, because it has a greater number of cores and a graphics processing unit. Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 counts with a bit more vivid display than Microsoft Surface RT, because although it has a quite smaller display and a little lower resolution of 800 x 1280, it also counts with a bit better number of pixels per screen inch.
