Comparison review

Samsung Galaxy Tab has a score of 58.6, which is just a bit better than Microsoft Surface RT's overall score of 58.4. The Samsung Galaxy Tab comes with Android 2.3.3 OS, while Microsoft Surface RT has Windows RT OS. Samsung Galaxy Tab's design is way lighter than the Microsoft Surface RT, although it is thicker and was released just 22 months before.

Samsung Galaxy Tab features a display that's just as good as the display in Microsoft Surface RT, because although the Samsung Galaxy Tab has a much lower 600 x 1024 pixels resolution and a much smaller display, it also counts with a little bit better number of pixels in each inch of screen. The Microsoft Surface RT features a much bigger storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Tab, because although it has no SD card slot, it also counts with 32 GB more internal memory.

Microsoft Surface RT has a better processor than Samsung Galaxy Tab, because it has more processing cores, a greater amount of RAM and an additional graphics co-processor. The Samsung Galaxy Tab features a really longer battery lifetime than Microsoft Surface RT. The Galaxy Tab features a lot better camera than Microsoft Surface RT, and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same video resolution, the Galaxy Tab also has a back camera with lot more MP.

Although Galaxy Tab is a better device, it costs a bit more money than the Microsoft Surface RT, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Microsoft Surface RT. If you prefer to save some money, you can get Microsoft Surface RT, letting go some specs and features, but you'll get the most out of your money.
