The Motorola Droid XYBoard 8.2 has a global score of 62.6, which is a little bit better than Microsoft Surface RT's score of 58.4. The Motorola Droid XYBoard 8.2 works with Android 4.0 operating system, and Microsoft Surface RT has Windows RT operating system. Motorola Droid XYBoard 8.2's construction is way lighter and a little thinner than Microsoft Surface RT, although both were released only a couple months apart.

Motorola Droid XYBoard 8.2 has a brighter screen than Microsoft Surface RT, because although it has a way smaller display and a little worse 800 x 1280 resolution, it also counts with a just a bit better pixels density. The Microsoft Surface RT features a much bigger memory to store more games and applications than Motorola Droid XYBoard 8.2, because it has 32 GB more internal storage.

Microsoft Surface RT features a bit superior processing unit than Motorola Droid XYBoard 8.2, because although it has a worse 520 megahertz graphics co-processor, it also counts with a greater number of cores (and they are faster) and a higher amount of RAM memory. Motorola Droid XYBoard 8.2 has a much longer battery performance than Microsoft Surface RT.

The Motorola Droid XYBoard 8.2 takes greater photographs and videos than Microsoft Surface RT, and although they both have the same video frame rates and the same 1280x720 video resolution, the Motorola Droid XYBoard 8.2 also has a camera in the back with a lot higher resolution.

Although Motorola Droid XYBoard 8.2 is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Microsoft Surface RT, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Microsoft Surface RT. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy the Motorola Droid XYBoard 8.2, else you can save some dollars and buy the Microsoft Surface RT, letting go a couple specs and features.
