Comparison review

The Motorola Droid XYBoard 8.2 has a global score of 62.6, which is a little bit better than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0)'s 60.7 general score. Both of these tablets come with Android OS, but the Motorola Droid XYBoard 8.2 has the previous 4.0 version and Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) has Android 4.1. The Motorola Droid XYBoard 8.2 design is somewhat thinner but heavier than the Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), and both of them were released with only 2 months difference.

Motorola Droid XYBoard 8.2 counts with a bit better processing unit than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), and although they both have the same number of cores and 1 GB of RAM memory, the Motorola Droid XYBoard 8.2 also has an extra graphics processor. The Motorola Droid XYBoard 8.2 counts with a bit better screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), because it has a bit higher display density, a larger screen and a higher 800 x 1280 pixels resolution.

Motorola Droid XYBoard 8.2 has a bit better camera than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), and although they both have the same 1280x720 (HD) video resolution and the same video frame rates, the Motorola Droid XYBoard 8.2 also has a back camera with a way higher 5 megapixels resolution. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) has a superior memory capacity for games and applications than Motorola Droid XYBoard 8.2, and although they both have the same internal storage capacity, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) also has a SD memory card expansion slot that supports up to 32 GB.

The Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) features a battery duration that's just as good as the Motorola Droid XYBoard 8.2 one, although the Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) also has a 1 percent bigger battery capacity.

Although Motorola Droid XYBoard 8.2 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0). So if you need that extra specs, you can buy the Motorola Droid XYBoard 8.2, else you can save some money and get the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), letting go a couple features and specifications.
