The Galaxy Tab A 8.0 has an overall score of 62.8, which is slightly better than the Motorola Droid XYBoard 8.2's 62.6 general score. Galaxy Tab A 8.0's construction is incredibly newer, somewhat thinner and somewhat lighter than the Motorola Droid XYBoard 8.2. These devices come with Android OS, but Galaxy Tab A 8.0 has a newer 7.1 Nougat version while Motorola Droid XYBoard 8.2 has Android 4.0 version.

Motorola Droid XYBoard 8.2 has a bit more powerful CPU than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory and 2 lesser 1.2 GHz cores, it also counts with a graphics processing unit.
