The Galaxy Tab Active 2 has an overall score of 70, which is much better than the Motorola Droid XYBoard 8.2's 62.6 general score. Both of these tablets use Android operating system, but the Galaxy Tab Active 2 has a more recent 9.0 Pie version and Motorola Droid XYBoard 8.2 has Android 4.0, providing a couple nice extra features. Galaxy Tab Active 2 is a much newer portable tablet than the Motorola Droid XYBoard 8.2, although it's thicker and a bit heavier.

Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 2 has a very superior storage capacity for apps and games than Motorola Droid XYBoard 8.2, because although it has only 16 GB internal memory capacity, it also counts with an external SD slot that holds up to 256 GB.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 2 counts with a bit better processing power than Motorola Droid XYBoard 8.2, because although it has doesn't have an extra GPU, it also counts with a higher amount of RAM and a higher number of faster cores. Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 2 has a bit better camera than Motorola Droid XYBoard 8.2, because it has a lot more MP camera and a much better video quality.
Galaxy Tab Active 2 counts with just a little better battery life than Motorola Droid XYBoard 8.2, because it has 4450mAh of battery capacity.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 2 is a lot more expensive than the Motorola Droid XYBoard 8.2, but you can get a better tablet for that extra money.
