The Motorola Droid XYBoard 8.2 has a general score of 62.6, which is a bit better than the Sony Tablet S's global score of 57.5. Both devices in this review use the same Android 4.0 OS. Even when Motorola Droid XYBoard 8.2 and Sony Tablet S were released only a few months apart, Motorola Droid XYBoard 8.2 is somewhat thinner and extremely lighter.

Motorola Droid XYBoard 8.2 features a much better looking display than Sony Tablet S, because although it has a quite smaller screen, and they both have exactly the same resolution of 800 x 1280px, the Motorola Droid XYBoard 8.2 also counts with a just a bit better amount of pixels in each inch of display.

Sony Tablet S has a very superior storage to store more games and applications than Motorola Droid XYBoard 8.2, and although they both have the same 32 GB internal memory, the Sony Tablet S also has an external SD slot that holds up to 32 GB. The Motorola Droid XYBoard 8.2 features a bit faster processor than Sony Tablet S, and although they both have the same RAM amount and a Dual-Core processing unit, the Motorola Droid XYBoard 8.2 also has an extra GPU.
