The Sony Xperia Z4 Tablet has a general score of 74.7, which is much better than Motorola Droid XYBoard 8.2's general score of 62.6. Sony Xperia Z4 Tablet is a a bit heavier but much thinner tablet than Motorola Droid XYBoard 8.2. Both tablets in this comparison review use Android operating system, but Sony Xperia Z4 Tablet has a more recent 5.0 version and Motorola Droid XYBoard 8.2 has Android 4.0 version, so it offers a couple additional features.

The Xperia Z4 Tablet has a more vivid screen than Motorola Droid XYBoard 8.2, because it has a much higher 1600 x 2560 pixels resolution, a way higher screen density and a bigger screen. The Xperia Z4 Tablet features a way better processing power than Motorola Droid XYBoard 8.2, because although it has a slower GPU, it also counts with a 64-bits processing unit, 2 GB more RAM memory and a greater number of cores.

The Xperia Z4 Tablet features a superior storage capacity to install games and applications than Motorola Droid XYBoard 8.2, and although they both have equal internal storage capacity, the Xperia Z4 Tablet also has a SD memory card expansion slot that admits up to 128 GB. Motorola Droid XYBoard 8.2 takes a little bit better pictures and videos than Sony Xperia Z4 Tablet, although it has a way lower 1280x720 (HD) video quality and a camera in the back with lot less megapixels.

Although Xperia Z4 Tablet is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Motorola Droid XYBoard 8.2, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Motorola Droid XYBoard 8.2. If you want to save some dollars, you can buy Motorola Droid XYBoard 8.2, and give up a few features and specifications, but you will get the most with your budget.
