The Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 is a bit better than Motorola Xoom 2, getting a 62.6 score against 57.4. The Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 construction is extremely newer, much thinner and lighter than the Motorola Xoom 2. Both tablets we are comparing here include Android OS, but Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 has the newer 11 version and Motorola Xoom 2 has Android 3.2, so it gives you a couple nice extra features.
Motorola Xoom 2 counts with a much better performing processor than Galaxy Tab A8, although it has an inferior number of cores and a smaller amount of RAM. Motorola Xoom 2 has a much better display than Galaxy Tab A8, although it has a much lower pixels density, a little bit smaller display and a lot worse resolution of 800 x 1280.
The Galaxy Tab A8 counts with a superior memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Motorola Xoom 2, and although they both have exactly the same internal memory, the Galaxy Tab A8 also has an external memory card slot that supports up to 1 TB. The Motorola Xoom 2 features a slightly better camera than Galaxy Tab A8, although it has a camera with a way lower 5 MP resolution.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 has a superior battery lifetime than Motorola Xoom 2.
