Motorola Xoom 2 is a mid-level tablet device launched some years ago, in 2011, which counts with a large 10.1 inches capacitive display, a great performance 1200 MHz Dual-Core processing unit, and 2 cameras, a 5 MP back side camera and a 1.3 MP front-facing camera.
This tablet is a very compact device, considering it has a 10.1 inches display and it is only 10" long. The Motorola Xoom 2 is just 0.35" thick, making it one of the thinnest tablets in the market. Motorola appears to have forgotten about weight optimization in this 21.13 oz tablet.
Motorola equipped this tablet with a good level 10.1 inches screen, and a 800 x 1280 resolution, providing this portable tablet with a good graphic quality. Its screen uses LCD capacitive technology, and allows multi-touch for gestures like pinch and zoom.
The Motorola Xoom 2 is powered by a great performance 1.2 gigahertz Dual-Core CPU and 1 GB of RAM memory. A great point of the Motorola Xoom 2 is its astonishing 32 GB internal storage memory and although it doesn't count with a slot for an external memory card, it is still enough to install lots of applications, games, songs, photos and videos without having to worry about filling it.
This tablet has two cameras, a 5 MP back camera and a 1.3 mega-pixels front-facing camera. It also films videos in 1280x720 (HD) at 30 frames per second. In addition, this tablet's camera also counts with flash and auto-focus.
This tablet provides wi-fi capability (although it can't share it with other devices around, as a mobile hotspot), HSPA+ 4G connection type, which is not so fast as LTE-A or LTE 4G networks and fast 3G internet connection, supported by HSDPA, HSUPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. This tablet works with a SIM card for GSM carriers.
The Motorola Xoom 2 also includes a couple nice features such as Bluetooth (2.1, EDR) and GPS Geolocation, and plenty of sensors like Light Sensor, Accelerometer, Gyroscope, Barometer and Compass.
This tablet is not very convinient considering it is priced 340 dollars, while some similar devices are sold for much less than that. If you want a social tablet, you will definitely be very happy with it.
