Motorola Xoom 2 Review

Wi-Fi 16 GB (MZ615)     See other variants reviews Score: 56.1 / 100

Motorola Xoom 2 is a mid level device released some years ago, in 2011, with a really big 10.1 inches capacitive display, a powerful Dual-Core processor running at 1200 MHz, and 2 cameras, a 5 MP back-facing camera and a 1.3 mega-pixels front side camera.

This tablet comes with a powerful Dual-Core CPU ticking at 1200 MHz and 1 GB of RAM memory. The Motorola Xoom 2 has a 16 GB quite large internal memory and whereas it doesn't have an SD card slot, it is enough to install a couple hundred applications and games, although it probably wouldn't be suitable if you are planning to install some of the largest games available nowadays.

The Motorola Xoom 2 is extremely thin and comfortable, being just 0.35" thick. This tablet just has 10 inches long and 6.83" wide, but it manages to hold a 10.1 inches display. This time, it seems like Motorola didn't care so much about the weight in this 21.13 ounces portable tablet.

Motorola equipped this tablet with a good 10.1" display, and a resolution of 800 x 1280 , giving this device a nice graphical experience. Its display uses LCD capacitive technology, and can detect multiple fingers at the same time.

The Motorola Xoom 2 features two cameras, a 5 MP back facing camera and a 1.3 mega-pixels front camera. It is also able to film videos in 1280x720 (HD) at 30 frames per second. Additionally, this tablet's camera also has auto-focus and flash.

The Motorola Xoom 2 includes wi-fi connectivity (but it can't be shared with other devices around, acting as a modem), HSPA+ 4G internet connection, that is not as fast as LTE-A or LTE networks and fast 3G data connection, over HSDPA, HSUPA and EDGE technologies. The Motorola Xoom 2 works with a SIM card to connect to GSM networks.

The Motorola Xoom 2 also features a couple of cool features like Bluetooth (2.1, EDR) and GPS (Global Positioning System), and plenty of sensors like Light Sensor, Accelerometer, Gyroscope, Barometer and Compass.

The Motorola Xoom 2 is being sold for about 340 dollars, not cheap for comparing with similar devices. If you are looking for a tablet to majorly use social networks, you will definitely be very happy with it.
