Motorola Xoom 2 is a mid-end tablet launched back in the year 2011, packing a 10.1-inches multi touch screen, a fast 1.2 GHz Dual-Core CPU, a 5 megapixels back side camera and a 1.3 mega-pixels front side camera.
Motorola decided to sell this portable tablet with a good performance 1.2 GHz Dual-Core processing unit with 1 GB of RAM. An interesting aspect of this tablet is its quite large 16 GB internal memory and although it doesn't include an SD extension slot, it is enough to store a couple hundred games and applications, although it may not be enough if you are fan of the largest games available nowadays.
The Motorola Xoom 2 is extremely slim, with a thickness of just 0.35". This device is a compact tablet device, given that it features a 10.1" screen and it is only 10 inches long. Motorola appears to have forgotten about weight optimization in this 21.13 ounces portable tablet.
This tablet is equipped with a nice 800 x 1280 10.1-inches display, providing this device with a nice graphical experience. This display uses LCD capacitive technology, and allows multi-touch for gestures like pinch and zoom.
This device features two cameras, a 5 mega-pixels back side camera and a 1.3 MP front camera. It can also capture 1280x720 HD videos at 30 fps. Additionally, the camera features auto-focus and flash.
This tablet offers wifi connectivity (although it can't be provided to other devices around, acting as a router), 4G HSPA+ connectivity, which is not as fast as LTE-A or LTE 4G networks and 3G fast data connection, supported by HSDPA, HSUPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. This tablet works with a SIM card for GSM networks.
This tablet also features a couple of nice features like Bluetooth (provides communication with other bluetooth tablet devices and accessories) and GPS Navigation, and plenty of sensors like Light Sensor, Accelerometer, Gyroscope, Barometer and Compass.
This device is not a very good choice considering it is offerred for $ 340, while other similar portable tablets are sold for much less than that. If you are looking for a social tablet, you will definitely be very satisfied with this tablet device.
