Comparison review
The Sony Tablet S is a little bit better than the Motorola Xoom 2, with a global score of 57.5 against 57.4. Although the Sony Tablet S and Motorola Xoom 2 were released with only a couple months difference, Sony Tablet S's body is just a little bit lighter but also thicker. Both of these tablets have Android OS, but Sony Tablet S has a more recent 4.0 version while Motorola Xoom 2 has Android 3.2, providing a lot of extra features.
Motorola Xoom 2 has a little bit better screen than Sony Tablet S, because although it has a just a bit less pixels per inch of screen, and they both have an equal resolution of 800 x 1280, the Motorola Xoom 2 also counts with a quite bigger screen. Motorola Xoom 2 counts with just a little better performance than Sony Tablet S. Both have 2 processing cores and 1 GB of RAM memory.
Motorola Xoom 2 counts with a bit better camera than Sony Tablet S. They have the same resolution camera in the back, the same 1280x720 (HD) video resolution and the same 30 frames per second video frame rates. Sony Tablet S has a way bigger memory capacity for games and applications than Motorola Xoom 2, and although they both have equal internal storage, the Sony Tablet S also has a SD card slot that supports a maximum of 32 GB.
Sony Tablet S counts with a way better battery life than Motorola Xoom 2.
Although Sony Tablet S is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Motorola Xoom 2, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Motorola Xoom 2. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy the Sony Tablet S, otherwise you can save a couple dollars and get the Motorola Xoom 2, resigning some specifications.
