The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 is slightly better than Motorola Xoom 2 Media Edition, getting a 66.3 score against 60.4. The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 design has the same thickness than the Motorola Xoom 2 Media Edition, but it's heavier. Both of these tablets work with Android OS (operating system), but the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 has newer 4.4 version and Motorola Xoom 2 Media Edition has Android 3.2 version, so it provides the user some additional features and increased performance.

The Motorola Xoom 2 Media Edition has a sharper display than Galaxy Note 10.1, because although it has a little smaller screen, and they both have an equal 800 x 1280px resolution, the Motorola Xoom 2 Media Edition also counts with a just a bit more pixels per inch in the display. Galaxy Note 10.1 features a bit better hardware performance than Motorola Xoom 2 Media Edition, because although it has doesn't have an additional GPU, it also counts with a larger amount of RAM and a greater number of cores.

Motorola Xoom 2 Media Edition shoots much clearer photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1. Both of them have the same resolution camera in the back, the same 1280x720 video definition and the same video frame rates. The Galaxy Note 10.1 counts with a lot bigger storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Motorola Xoom 2 Media Edition, because it has 64 GB internal memory and an external memory card slot that holds up to 32 GB.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 features a much better battery performance than Motorola Xoom 2 Media Edition, because it has a 79 percent larger battery capacity.
