The Galaxy Tab A 10.5 is a lot better than the Motorola Xoom 2 Media Edition, getting a overall score of 74.5 against 60.4. Both tablets we are comparing include Android OS, but Galaxy Tab A 10.5 has a more recent 9.0 Pie version while Motorola Xoom 2 Media Edition has Android 3.2 version, so it provides the user a couple nice extra features. Even though the Galaxy Tab A 10.5 is way heavier than the Motorola Xoom 2 Media Edition, it's thinner and much newer.

The Galaxy Tab A 10.5 has a better performing CPU than Motorola Xoom 2 Media Edition, because although it has doesn't have an additional graphics co-processor, it also counts with a greater number of cores and more RAM. Motorola Xoom 2 Media Edition has a bit sharper screen than Galaxy Tab A 10.5, although it has a just a bit worse quantity of pixels per inch of display, a really smaller screen and a much lower 800 x 1280 pixels resolution.
