Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 has an overall score of 67.9, which is much better than Motorola XOOM CDMA's overall score of 57.3. Both of these tablets come with Android OS (operating system), but Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 has the newer 4.4 version and Motorola XOOM CDMA has Android 4.0 version, so it counts with a lot of extra features. The Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 design is a lot newer, extremely thinner and way lighter than the Motorola XOOM CDMA.
Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 has a much sharper display than Motorola XOOM CDMA, because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a lot higher screen density and a much higher 1600 x 2560 resolution. Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 features a slightly bigger storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Motorola XOOM CDMA, because although it has no external SD slot, it also counts with 64 GB internal memory.
