Dell Venue 8 7840 is a little bit better than Motorola XOOM CDMA, getting a general score of 61 against 57.3. Both devices in this review include Android operating system, but Dell Venue 8 7840 has 4.4 version and Motorola XOOM CDMA has Android 4.0 version. Dell Venue 8 7840 is a much thinner and incredibly lighter tablet than Motorola XOOM CDMA.
The Dell Venue 8 7840 has a much better performing processor than Motorola XOOM CDMA, because it has more RAM, 2 more cpu cores, a 64-bit CPU and an extra graphics co-processor. Dell Venue 8 7840 features a way better display than Motorola XOOM CDMA, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a way better pixels amount per display inch and a much higher 2560 x 1600 pixels resolution.
Dell Venue 8 7840 has a greater memory to store more games and applications than Motorola XOOM CDMA, because although it has only 16 GB internal memory capacity, it also counts with a slot for an external memory card that allows up to 512 GB. The Dell Venue 8 7840's battery duration is just as good as Motorola XOOM CDMA's battery life.
Motorola XOOM CDMA has a slightly better camera than Dell Venue 8 7840, although it has a lot less MP camera.
