The Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 has a global score of 62.6, which is a bit better than Motorola XOOM CDMA's global score of 57.3. Both devices in this comparison review include Android OS (operating system), but the Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 has 11 version and Motorola XOOM CDMA has Android 4.0. Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 is a noticeably newer device, and it is also way thinner and incredibly lighter than the Motorola XOOM CDMA.

The Motorola XOOM CDMA features a much better performing processor than Samsung Galaxy Tab A8, although it has a lower amount of RAM and a lower number of cores (but faster). The Motorola XOOM CDMA has just a bit better display than Samsung Galaxy Tab A8, although it has a lot less pixels per inch in the display, a little bit smaller display and a much lower resolution of 800 x 1280 pixels.

Motorola XOOM CDMA captures a little bit better photographs and videos than Galaxy Tab A8, although it has a back facing camera with a way worse 5 mega-pixels resolution. The Galaxy Tab A8 features a much better memory to install games and applications than Motorola XOOM CDMA, and although they both have equal internal storage capacity, the Galaxy Tab A8 also has a SD memory card expansion slot that allows up to 1 TB.

The Galaxy Tab A8 features a much longer battery performance than Motorola XOOM CDMA.
