Galaxy Tab S 8.4 is way better than the Motorola XOOM CDMA, with a 74.5 score against 57.3. Both devices we compare here work with Android operating system, but the Galaxy Tab S 8.4 has the newer 4.4.2 version while Motorola XOOM CDMA has Android 4.0. The Galaxy Tab S 8.4 construction is much newer, lighter and much thinner than Motorola XOOM CDMA.
Galaxy Tab S 8.4 has a better performance than Motorola XOOM CDMA, because it has a higher number of cores (and also faster) and more RAM. Galaxy Tab S 8.4 has a much better looking screen than Motorola XOOM CDMA, because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a lot higher pixels number per inch of display and a lot higher 2560 x 1600px resolution.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 captures a little bit better videos and photos than Motorola XOOM CDMA, because it has a lot better resolution back facing camera and a much better 1920x1080 (Full HD) video resolution. The Galaxy Tab S 8.4 has a greater memory to store more games and applications than Motorola XOOM CDMA, and although they both have equal internal storage capacity, the Galaxy Tab S 8.4 also has a SD memory slot that allows a maximum of 128 GB.
Galaxy Tab S 8.4 features a really longer battery duration than Motorola XOOM CDMA.
