LG G Pad X 8.0 has a general score of 63.5, which is better than the Motorola XOOM Wi-Fi's 55.1 overall score. These tablets include Android operating system, but LG G Pad X 8.0 has the newer 6.0 Marshmallow version while Motorola XOOM Wi-Fi has Android 4.1.2 version. The LG G Pad X 8.0 is a much newer tablet, and it is also way lighter and thinner than Motorola XOOM Wi-Fi.

LG G Pad X 8.0 counts with a better hardware performance than Motorola XOOM Wi-Fi, because it has a higher number of cores (and also faster) and a larger amount of RAM. The LG G Pad X 8.0 counts with a more vivid screen than Motorola XOOM Wi-Fi, because although it has a much smaller display, it also counts with a lot higher resolution of 1200 x 1920 pixels and a lot more pixels per inch in the display.

The Motorola XOOM Wi-Fi has just a bit more memory to install applications and games than LG G Pad X 8.0, because although it has a slot for an SD memory card that allows 96 GB smaller, it also counts with more internal storage. Motorola XOOM Wi-Fi takes much better pictures and videos than LG G Pad X 8.0. They have the same video frame rate, the same 1280x720 (HD) video resolution and a 5 mega pixels back-facing camera.
