The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) has a general score of 75.8, which is a lot better than Motorola XOOM Wi-Fi's score of 55.1. The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) design is noticeably newer, extremely lighter and incredibly thinner than the Motorola XOOM Wi-Fi. These tablets have Android OS, but Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) has a more recent 4.4.2 version and Motorola XOOM Wi-Fi has Android 4.1.2, so it gives a couple nice extra features and some performance improvements.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) features a much sharper display than Motorola XOOM Wi-Fi, and although they both have a screen of the same size, the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) also has a lot greater display pixel density and a way higher resolution of 1600 x 2560px. The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) has a bit more storage capacity to store more games and applications than Motorola XOOM Wi-Fi, and although they both have equal internal memory, the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) also has a slot for an SD memory card that allows up to 64 GB.

Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) has a very superior hardware performance than Motorola XOOM Wi-Fi, because it has an additional graphics processing unit, more RAM memory and a greater number of faster cores. The Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) features a really longer battery duration than Motorola XOOM Wi-Fi. Motorola XOOM Wi-Fi features a little bit better camera than Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014), although it has a camera in the back with lot less mega pixels and a lot worse (HD) video resolution.

The Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) is way more expensive than Motorola XOOM Wi-Fi, but you can get a much better tablet for that extra dollars.
