The Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) design is newer, lighter and a lot thinner than the Motorola XOOM Wi-Fi. Both tablets in this comparison work with Android OS (Operating System), but Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) has the older 4.1 version while Motorola XOOM Wi-Fi has Android 4.1.2 version.
