Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 has an overall score of 58.1, which is a bit better than Motorola XOOM Wi-Fi's 55.1 general score. Both devices in this comparison include Android OS (operating system), but the Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 has the older 3.0 version and Motorola XOOM Wi-Fi has Android 4.1.2. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 is a notably thinner and much lighter tablet than Motorola XOOM Wi-Fi, although both were released with only a couple months difference.
The Galaxy Tab 8.9 has a brighter screen than Motorola XOOM Wi-Fi, because although it has a little bit smaller display, and they both have the same 800 x 1280px resolution, the Galaxy Tab 8.9 also counts with a bit higher screen density. The Motorola XOOM Wi-Fi counts with just a bit better processing power than Galaxy Tab 8.9. Both have the same number of cores.
Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 features a little bit better memory capacity to store more games and applications than Motorola XOOM Wi-Fi, because although it has no external memory slot, it also counts with 64 GB internal storage. The Galaxy Tab 8.9 counts with a really longer battery performance than Motorola XOOM Wi-Fi.
Motorola XOOM Wi-Fi has a greater camera than Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9, and although they both have the same video frame rates and the same 1280x720 (HD) video resolution, the Motorola XOOM Wi-Fi also has a back-facing camera with lot more mega pixels.
Galaxy Tab 8.9 is not only the best tablets in this comparison, but it's also very cheap compared to the other ones.
