The Galaxy Tab S8 is much better than Motorola XOOM Wi-Fi, having a 76.7 score against 55.1. The Galaxy Tab S8 design is newer, much thinner and extremely lighter than the Motorola XOOM Wi-Fi. Both devices in this review have Android OS (Operating System), but the Galaxy Tab S8 has the older 13 version while Motorola XOOM Wi-Fi has Android 4.1.2 version.
The Galaxy Tab S8 has just a bit better display than Motorola XOOM Wi-Fi, because it has a much better number of pixels per inch of screen, a bit larger screen and a lot higher resolution of 1600 x 2560px. Galaxy Tab S8 counts with much more storage for games and applications than Motorola XOOM Wi-Fi, because it has a slot for SD memory cards that supports up to 1 TB and 96 GB more internal storage.
Motorola XOOM Wi-Fi counts with a lot better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab S8, although it has a lower amount of RAM and 6 less cpu cores (although they are faster). The Galaxy Tab S8 features a very superior battery performance than Motorola XOOM Wi-Fi. Galaxy Tab S8 has a very superior camera than Motorola XOOM Wi-Fi, because it has a back camera with lot more megapixels and a way higher 3840x2160 video resolution.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 costs a lot more than the Motorola XOOM Wi-Fi, but it's still a good choice, because you can get a lot more features for that extra money.
