IPad mini 3 is much better than Motorola XOOM, having a global score of 77.5 against 55.9. The iPad mini 3 construction is much newer, noticeably lighter and much thinner than the Motorola XOOM. IPad mini 3 has iOS 8.x operating system, while Motorola XOOM has Android 4.0 operating system. The iPad mini 3 features a very superior processor than Motorola XOOM, and although they both have the same RAM amount and the same number of cores, the iPad mini 3 also has a 64 bits processor and an additional graphics co-processor.
The Apple iPad mini 3 counts with a much better screen than Motorola XOOM, because although it has a way smaller screen, it also counts with a lot better resolution of 1536 x 2048px and a way greater pixels density. The iPad mini 3 features a very superior memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Motorola XOOM, because although it has no SD extension slot, it also counts with more internal memory capacity.
