The Asus Fonepad 7 has a global score of 58.9, which is just a bit better than Motorola XOOM's global score of 55.9. These devices work with Android operating system, but the Asus Fonepad 7 has newer 5.0 version and Motorola XOOM has Android 4.0 version, offering a couple additional features and enhanced performance. The Asus Fonepad 7 construction is noticeably thinner and incredibly lighter than Motorola XOOM.

The Asus Fonepad 7 features a better display than Motorola XOOM, because although it has a lot smaller screen, and they both have exactly the same resolution of 1280 x 800, the Asus Fonepad 7 also counts with a greater pixel density. The Asus Fonepad 7 counts with a quite better hardware performance than Motorola XOOM, because it has a 64-bits processing unit, a higher amount of RAM memory and a larger number of faster cores.
