Comparison review

The Asus MeMO Pad 8 is a bit better than the Motorola XOOM, getting a general score of 60.1 against 55.9. Both of these tablets include Android OS (operating system), but Asus MeMO Pad 8 has the newer 4.4 version while Motorola XOOM has Android 4.0, so it gives you lots of additional features and performance optimizations. Asus MeMO Pad 8 is a much newer tablet, and it is also a lot thinner and much lighter than Motorola XOOM.

The Asus MeMO Pad 8 has a quite superior hardware performance than Motorola XOOM, because it has more cores and more RAM memory. Asus MeMO Pad 8 counts with an incredibly better looking display than Motorola XOOM, because although it has a lot smaller screen, it also counts with a way better screen pixels density and a much higher resolution of 1920 x 1200.

Motorola XOOM shoots better photographs and videos than Asus MeMO Pad 8. Both have a same resolution back-facing camera, the same video quality and the same video frame rates. The Motorola XOOM counts with a quite bigger memory to store more games and applications than Asus MeMO Pad 8, because although it has an external memory card slot that supports a maximum of 32 GB against 64 GB, it also counts with 16 GB more internal memory capacity.

Asus MeMO Pad 8's battery duration is just as good as Motorola XOOM's battery duration.

The Asus MeMO Pad 8 not only is the best tablets in our current comparison, but it's also a lot cheaper.
